Ministry of Culture and National Heritage

In 2009, the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage supported the initiative of the 3-day festival "Zbigniew Seifert in Memoriam" in Cracow, held to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the death of the brilliant violinist, sax player and jazz composer from Cracow. In 2011 the Ministry co-funds the Berlin project "Zbigniew Seifert in Memoriam" marking Poland's Presidency of the Council of the European Union, implemented in co-operation with Artistic Association "Pro Musica Mundi" and Jazzwerkstatt Berlin-Brandenburg. The Ministry of Culture and National Heritage also provides financial support for the project "Jazz Guide", that is, the digitalisation of historical issues of "Jazz Forum" magazine from 1965-89 in three language versions.

The Marshal's Office co-financed the international festival "Zbigniew Seifert in Memoriam", held to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the artist's death in 2009. In 2011 the Marshal's Office co-funds two projects of our Foundation: one - organised jointly with Artistic Association "Pro Musica Mundi" in Cracow, which is a form of continuation for the 2009 festival, now entitled: "Zbigniew Seifert in Memoriam" in Berlin (marking Poland's Presidency of the Council of the European Union). The other - our "Jazz Guide", which will produce educational materials, including some about jazz in Cracow.
